how can i tighten the sensor cables?

Post by angeloangelogr » Wed Mar 01, 2017 5:32 pm

Hello, the light was blinking because one of the wires is loose for the sensors behind the head, if i push the wire back in it works so its loose. How can i tighten it? Does anyone have a picture of what to do or some type of diagram. Anything that can help. How to i get back there to tighten it?

If you are talking about the Metaza impact printer then you'll need new cables.

You could add a small cable tie to the cable as long as it doent restrict any movement.

I had to fix mine when a connection on one of the sensors snapped at the back of the head snapped, they are difficult to get to.
just make sure when you do get it back in place that you put a cable tie around the cord to keep it in place or as the head is moving it will snap another connection. you MUST make sure that you leave a little slack in the cable though or the cord will pull tight when the head moves and snap the connection.
