I've had an update from Japan that this will be fixed in the next release, it is expected on the 12th April.
Excellent thanks!

Re: Custom Cut not working in v6.2.1

I'm unsure on how to use the cropmarks feature (I have a BN-20?). There was another update but the custom cut feature still isn't working?

I would like to see this fixed asap really as it does affect my workflow.

Cheers.

Hi Dan, have you managed to sort this issue out? I am having the exact same problem and it's a bit of a headache.

Re: BN-20 dripping ink when performing perf/contour cut

Thought I would update this thread since others are having the same issue. I had an engineer out who changed the dampers in the head which solved the issue. Don’t waste your time trying to clean every part as it’s most likely the dampers which an engineer will sort out straight away. Just for a bit ...

Re: BN-20 dripping ink when performing perf/contour cut

Hi mate, I appreciate your help but this definitely isn’t to do with dirt on the head. When it makes the klack klack noises halfway through a cut I can immediately see the drip form on the head and it’s only a matter of seconds longer in the cut process that it gives up and drips onto the media. Wha...

Re: BN-20 dripping ink when performing perf/contour cut

Hi, it's a new machine only had it since December so I haven't changed the wipers yet. I don't understand how dirt can cause it, the nozzle check prints perfectly. Where is the dirt likely to be that is causing this? I have been watching the head as it returns to the pot half way through. The printe...

Re: BN-20 dripping ink when performing perf/contour cut

Hi, did you solve this? I'm having the exact same issue. It only does it while cutting, it sounds like it pumps the ink but then doesn't wipe it off the head so a drip forms which then catches the media and leaves a trail of black ink all over the design I've just printed. It's quite annoying. It's ...

Re: Grainy colours?

I have tried this and to be honest it didn't really make a difference? Maybe I need to let the White dry for longer before running the CMYK? The biggest difference I have seen so far is printing in uni-direction and not bi-direction.

Re: Grainy colours?

I usually do the standard one pass method but I have tried allowing the white the dry first but it makes no difference for some reason. However I have been playing about and have found that if I print in uni-direction the grain isn’t really that noticeable compared to printing in bi-directional, but...
