RML vs G-code accuracy on MDX-540s

Hello. Can't find any information about this. Is it possible to achieve 0.001 mm accuracy using RML on MDX-540? The line from the RML-1 PROGRAMING GUIDELINE pdf: "the unit of measurement for the coordinate system is 1/100 mm". Input parameters for movement commands accept floating-point numbers, the...

Hi Viteo,
We have raised your questions with our colleagues in HQ Japan, as we do not have an answer for you here.

I will let you know as soon as I here anything from them.
Well, I guess they just ignored your request.

Re: MDX-540S Z0 Sensor NC or RML command

Any chance to find driver API description? DLLs have a lot of exported functions with meaningful names, but it would be better to obtain any information about it, not just blindly trying to reinvent the wheel.

Re: MDX-540S Z0 Sensor NC or RML command

Hi, The Fanuc Macro # commands are not supported within Roland RML or NC Code. well, I probably can do the same without #macro, but the question is still open G0 Z1 G1 X0 Y0 F35 G?? MDX-540S Z0 Sensor NC or RML command

Greetings. Our machine model is MDX-540S. The machine has a Z0 sensor and I can execute the routine from handy panel or Vpanel, but I want to know how to execute it from RML or G-code (like G38 in LinuxCNC or G31 in Mach). My task is to measure the curvature of metal surface. Yes, it is possible to ...
