Re: Versaworks cuts every Vector line

there is a cut all paths tick box in vw 5.51 but grayed out on mine.
double check that you do not have two drawings on top of one another not uncommon.
if the art work is grouped or combined then unless separated all paths within the group will be treat the same if altered.
good luck

Re: VS640 more dense black?

you could try under printer controls in vw ,.... overprint set to 2
or in the design software assign the black as bk 100 c 60 m30 will help fill the gaps a bit..

or send a file i could check on a older vw setup.

Re: Coming up short?

size reported in vw can be misleading due to eps pdf page or selection boarder signlab may be set to 1mm eps boarder so the vw reported size is 2mm bigger that the graphic size, but should still print the correct size. unfortunately vw can not cut on a 0.0 line hence the small offset. if signlab is ...

Re: BN-20 pausing on the left and right with new PC

pause between passes,....... as to give extra drying time before the next print pass. i can't find it in versa 5 but in my wasatch rip introduces a timed delay between each print pass so the head stops and waits at the end of each pass for the number of seconds set, which is exactly what you are see...

Re: BN-20 pausing on the left and right with new PC

afternoon
i don't know macs or versa6 but in a lot of rips is a pause between passes command in seconds worth a look before delving in to deep space of networking speeds.. as you say its behaving as if its a data flow problem.
