Buying first Roland Printer / Cutter

Post by Dcpackaging » Tue Apr 16, 2019 5:45 pm

Hi, was hoping to get a little advise.
I am currently using a small desktop printer & Silhouette Cameo to make vinyl stickers and labels. At the moment the biggest i can print and cut is 12 x 24 inch. I have the printer and cutter running for 8-12 hours every day making labels. Its getting alot of work and i need to upgrade to a roland printer / cutter.
I mainly design & vinyl labels but would also be interested in making card envelopes and maybe prototype boxes but this isnt needed.
I have around £5/6000 for a machine is this enough?
What should i be looking for in a used machine?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated Thanks :D

If your interested in cutting card as well as the other stickers I would look at buying a new GR series cutter, as they offer more force than the older series and have a dedicated channel for perforate cutting.

It really depends on the label type, give our sales team a call on 01275 335540 to book in a demo to get a better view of what works for you.
