Print & Cut way off Help Please

Post by CM Graffix » Sat Mar 09, 2019 4:01 pm

Hello There

I have a sp-300v and it seems to be printing ok, then when It goes to cut it seems to be cutting in the wrong places. I have tried to calibrate the print cut but if I was to adjust it one way the other end goes out also. Looking at the machine facing me the print/cut is off showing white on the right hand side of the print after cut on left hand side of machine, and white on the left hand side of the print after cut on the right hand side of machine.

I hope you can understand this and help me out as I am now at my wits end with this.

Kind Regards
Tommy

Thank you for looking at my query

I have managed to fix this myself.

The Calibration for the cutting adjust was set wrong and I was setting this in the wrong section of the menu system.

Oh well you learn something new every time.

The calibration for the cut stretches the reference, this is used in cases where the cut is fine on one side but out of the other.

Normally the setting for this should be 0.
