GX 24 speed problem

GX 24 speed problem

hello i just joined there because i have a problem with lowering my speed on the roland plotter
it is set at 40cm but when i try to lower it from the plotter it goes back to 40 again
i cant seem to get the speed lower
anyone have any ideas please

Check what your settings are in the Windows driver as this will constantly re-write the setting for speed.

In devices look at printers and the GX-24 will be in the list, then look at the printing preferences and set the speed.

Also which software are you using?

i am using signlab 9.1 as my software
it doesnt have any option to change speed on the preference page unless i change it to 1 or 2 etc
its on machine setting now i did change it to 1 and it let me reduce speed but when i went to cut it was cutting at 40cm again

SignLab will use it's own built in driver rather than the Windows driver, but if you go to File and Print, you can test the Windows driver for the machine to determine what is happening.

SignLab should have settings for speed in the plotter setup.
