I am still wanting to buy a VSi this year, if any of you dealers have a cracking deal going please advise here....

Whooopeeee

VS640i is on order, got a good deal from a Roland supplier, a little oversized for us but what the .... looking forward to start playing install is next week.

Out of interest anybody used this machine for Magsheet? can it cut Mag sheet?

Hi Mikey,

I don't think the VS640i has an aluminium bed which is required for the feeding of magsheet. Without being in the office I can't 100% confirm but I believe the bed is steel so magnetic materials will stick to the bed and cause feed motor errors.

Best way to test is when you get your machine in get any old magnet and see if it will stick to the bed. IF I get an opportunity I will test it Monday for you.
